I don’t have to tell you life is hard—but it’s also full of beauty. Looking for the good—highlighting it, celebrating it—is a choice.

As a widowed mom of ten children, I’ve learned what it means to hold both sorrow and joy at the same time—sometimes in the very same moment. My paintings are my way of honoring life—not just enduring it, but delighting in it.

Alongside my studio work, I create meaningful experiences through speaking, live painting, and workshops—blending color and story in a way that helps others feel what words alone can’t always express.

I’m the founder of Walk the Red, where I help people find clarity, discover their purpose, and live a legacy of courage and impact. I also wrote Navigating Goodbye: A Guide for Those Blindsided by Terminal Illness to support families navigating some of life’s hardest moments.

Each month, I paint live at my local cancer center, offering beauty, color, and quiet encouragement to patients in treatment. It’s a sacred space that continues to shape both my work and my heart—and I carry that same spirit into live art shows and events throughout the year.
